Popular with families, retirees and young professionals, Camp Hill is a leafy, elevated suburb just 15 minutes from the CBD.

Residents have good access to amenities. Centro Samuel St Village and the shops along Stanley and Old Cleveland Roads cater to most needs, while larger complexes like Westfield Carindale and Cannon Hill Shopping Centre are close by. Martha Street is home to a burgeoning restaurant scene. There are a number of parks in the suburb, including Whites Hill Reserve, which features sports fields, a playground, BBQ facilities, picnic areas and bushwalking trails.

As for sporting facilities, Camp Hill Community & Sporting Club is a busy spot, and the Clem Jones Centre is a few minutes away. Camp Hill hotel is ideal for travellers passing through Brisbane. The area is also home to medical clinics and a range of primary and high schools.

Camp Hill is very well-serviced by public transport. Thanks to its location in between the city and major transport hubs like Carindale and Cannon Hill, regular and express bus routes run through the suburb. The Norman Park and Coorparoo train stations are nearby, and street parking is available.

The housing market in Camp Hill is diverse. Along with Queenslanders, the area is dotted with colonials, post-war workers’ cottages, townhouses, apartments and modern homes on large blocks. The streets are quiet and neighbourly, and many houses overlook the city, offering skyline views.
